Boat Wraps & Marine Graphics Miami

Four Winns speedboat with a Union Jack hull wrap, on a trailer

South Florida runs on the water, and a boat is one of the few surfaces where branding and personal expression overlap completely. Whether you are a marine service company that wants its fleet and vessels recognized on every dock, or an owner who wants a hull finish that turns heads at the sandbar, Graphink produces boat wraps and marine graphics from our Doral shop.

Boat Wraps for Owners

A vinyl wrap is the practical alternative to a repaint. It costs considerably less than a quality marine paint job, it can be removed, and it protects the gelcoat underneath from UV while it is on.

We have written more about the process in our guide to custom fitted boat wraps.

Marine Service Businesses

Marine trades have a branding problem most industries do not: your customers are spread across dozens of marinas, and the work happens where nobody is watching. Vehicle and vessel graphics are how you stay visible between jobs.

The towed trailer is the piece most marine businesses miss. It spends hours on the Palmetto and 826 in front of exactly the audience that owns boats.

Materials That Survive Salt Water and Florida Sun

Marine is the harshest environment we work in. Constant UV, salt spray, humidity, and repeated washdowns punish anything that was not specified properly, and a wrap that would last years on a truck will not perform the same way on a hull.

We print on 3M and Avery Dennison premium cast vinyl and laminate every panel for UV and abrasion resistance. Our installers are 3M and Avery factory certified.

Two things worth knowing before you commit. Vinyl goes above the waterline — it is not a substitute for bottom paint or antifouling. And the gelcoat underneath has to be sound; heavy oxidation, spider cracks, or previous repairs affect how well the film bonds. We will assess the hull honestly and tell you if prep work is needed first rather than wrapping over a problem.

Design for the Water

Boat graphics are read from a distance and from angles that vehicle graphics never are — across open water, from a neighboring slip, from a bridge. Hull curvature also distorts artwork that was laid out flat, so designs need to be built for the shape rather than dropped onto it.

Our in-house designers lay out the artwork to the vessel and send proofs before anything prints.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a boat wrap last?

Less than the same film on a truck, because the marine environment is harder on it — constant UV, salt, and washdowns. Life depends heavily on whether the boat is covered or slipped in the open, how often it is used, and how it is cleaned. We will give you a realistic expectation for your situation rather than a brochure number.

Is a wrap cheaper than painting a boat?

Generally yes, and by a wide margin against a quality marine paint job. A wrap is also reversible, which matters if you plan to sell — the next owner can return it to the original gelcoat.

Can you wrap below the waterline?

No. Wraps are for surfaces above the waterline. Anything below needs bottom paint and antifouling, which is a different job handled by a boatyard.

Can you do just the boat name and registration numbers?

Yes. Transom lettering and registration numbers are common standalone jobs, and a well-designed name treatment costs a small fraction of a full wrap.
