Food Truck Wraps in Miami

A food truck is a restaurant that has to win customers in about four seconds, from across a parking lot. The wrap is doing that work.

It is also the only signage you own. Park somewhere new and the wrap is the entire storefront.

Designing for Three Feet, Not Sixty

This is where food trucks differ from every other vehicle we wrap.

A commercial van is read at distance and at speed. A food truck is read by someone standing right in front of it, deciding what to order. That changes the design completely.

You need the name and the food type readable from across the lot. Then, close up, you need detail that holds attention while people queue: menu, prices, ingredients, personality.

Photography of the actual food works here in a way it rarely does elsewhere. People buy what they can see.

Working Around the Truck

Food trucks are the most awkward vehicles to lay out, because the good surfaces are interrupted.

The serving window takes the prime panel. Vents, hatches, propane hookups and equipment access all sit where a designer would want artwork. Awnings cover part of the side when open, and that is exactly when customers are looking.

So we design from photographs of your actual truck, with the window open and closed. A template layout will not survive contact with a real kitchen.

Heat, Grease and Cleaning

Food trucks are harder on graphics than almost anything else on the road.

Exhaust and cooking heat sit against panels for hours. Grease builds up around the window and gets scrubbed off daily. Add full Miami sun and the material choice stops being a detail.

We print on premium cast vinyl and laminate every panel, which is what makes repeated cleaning survivable. Panels that take the worst of it can be replaced individually later, without redoing the truck.

Frequently Asked Questions

Full wrap or partial?

Full wraps suit trucks with a strong visual concept. Partial wraps work well on a clean base colour and cost considerably less. Both look professional when designed properly.

Can you include the menu in the wrap?

Yes, though think about how often prices change. Many operators wrap the branding permanently and keep menu boards separate so they can be updated cheaply.

How long will it last?

Several years with laminated cast vinyl, though the area around the serving window ages fastest because it is cleaned most.

How long is the truck off the road?

Usually two to three days depending on coverage. Tell us your service schedule and we will work around it.
