Presentation Folder FAQ
1. What sizes are available for presentation folders?
Standard sizes include 9×12 inches for letter-size documents, 9×14.5 for legal documents, 6×9 for smaller portfolios, and 4×9 for receipts or gift certificates. Custom sizes are also available.
2. How deep are the pockets inside the folder?
Standard presentation folder pockets are 4 inches deep on both sides and include a die-cut slot for a standard business card on the right-hand pocket.
3. Are rounded corners available on presentation folders?
Rounded corners are not a standard option for presentation folders. Contact us if you have a specific design requirement and we will advise on what is possible.
4. What finishing options are available?
We offer gloss and matte lamination, spot UV coating, foil stamping, and embossing. These finishes can make your folder look and feel premium while reinforcing your brand.
5. Why do presentation folders sometimes crack on the spine?
Cracking on scored and folded coated stock is normal with heavy use. Choosing a matte or softer laminate over UV coating can reduce but not entirely eliminate this over time.
6. Can I print on both sides of the folder?
Yes. Both the outside and inside panels of the folder can be fully printed. Inside printing is a great opportunity to showcase your services, products, or brand story.
7. What file format should I submit?
Submit print-ready PDFs in CMYK color mode at 300 DPI with bleed. We will provide a die-line template so your design is correctly positioned around the pockets and spine.
8. What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimum quantities vary by folder style and finishing. Contact us for specific minimums and pricing for your project.
9. What is the turnaround time for presentation folders?
Custom presentation folders typically take 7 to 10 business days after proof approval due to the scoring, folding, and gluing involved in production.
10. Can you add a CD or USB slot to the folder?
Yes. Custom die-cut slots for CDs, USB drives, and other inserts can be added to your presentation folder. Let us know your requirements when requesting a quote.
