Printing FAQ
1. What file format should I submit for printing?
Most printers prefer high-resolution print-ready PDFs with CMYK color mode and embedded fonts. Vector files such as .AI or .EPS are also accepted for certain projects.
2. What is the turnaround time for printing orders?
Turnaround time varies by product and quantity. Select your product type and shipping address when placing an order to see an estimated delivery date. Rush orders are often available for time-sensitive projects.
3. Will I receive a proof before printing?
Yes. Most printing orders include a digital PDF proof for you to review layout and content, and in some cases a physical printed sample to verify colors and materials before full production begins.
4. What paper types and finishes are available?
We offer a wide range of paper stocks including glossy, matte, uncoated, textured, recycled, and specialty papers. Finishing options include lamination, die-cutting, varnish, embossing, and foil stamping.
5. How do you ensure color accuracy?
Color accuracy is critical, especially for branded materials. We use CMYK printing standards and provide proofs so you can verify colors before committing to a full print run.
6. Do you offer design support?
Yes. Our team can assist with design. Contact us to discuss your project and we will let you know what design support is available for your specific order.
7. What is the difference between digital and offset printing?
Digital printing is ideal for shorter runs and faster turnaround. Offset (litho) printing is better suited for high-volume orders where consistent color and lower per-unit costs are priorities.
8. Do you offer eco-friendly printing options?
Yes. We offer recycled paper options and use energy-efficient processes where possible. Ask us about FSC-certified materials and other sustainable printing choices.
9. Can I order a sample before placing a large order?
In many cases, yes. Contact us to request a sample or proof print before committing to a large quantity order.
10. Are rush orders available?
Yes. Rush printing is available for many of our products. Contact us with your deadline and we will do our best to accommodate your timeline.
